Anelie Belden, our speaker for March 21, is a very talented fiber artist, quilter, author and teacher. At her own quilting store she taught classes and designed quilts. She has taken the traditional Dresden designs and updated them to be modern. Her breakthrough piecing technique improves the speed and accuracy of making them. She has taught at Houston Quilt Festival and Empty Spools in Asilomar, Ca. Her designs have been featured in Quiltmaker Magazine.
In her workshop on March 22 we will be making a “Split-Blade” Dresden that is created by using precut 2 ½” Jelly Rolls. Anelie will teach her stitch-flip technique which requires NO applique. Come see her lovely sample on display. Find out more from her website: www.anelie.com
