Our goal is to promote friendship among those interested in quilting and to contribute to the knowledge and appreciation of quilts. Special Memberships

Junior Members
Charter Members
Affliliate Members

Diablo Valley Quilters offers a Junior Membership to students from 8 to 18 years of age. Junior members must be sponsored by a current DVQ member. Junior members do not pay annual dues; the sponsor maintains the junior’s eligibility by paying their own annual dues. Membership is renewed annually.

The Junior program fosters interest and appreciation of the art of quilting in young people. Juniors are taught age and skill appropriate projects, with an emphasis on the safe use of the necessary tools. Junior members are encouraged to show their work at DVQ’s biennial Quilt Show.

Meetings are held on the first Sunday of the month at the home of Maryann Maiorana, chair. Sponsors must be in attendance. For further information please contact Maryann at 925-803-0876 or mmaiorana@sbcglobal.net

We deeply appreciate our charter members for their desire to meet with and learn from fellow quilters enough to form our quilt guild.

It is their foundation on which we currently stand, deeply involved in the art of quilting and enjoying the friendships and education we receive from one another.

Our many thanks to these women with this foresight; our Charter Members.
