January 2018 Meeting Details – Jean Impey

January is the time for resolutions—to finish up some of the old and to start something new.  Join your fellow Diablo Valley quilters on Wednesday, January 17, to hear Jean Impey as she speaks of Finding Your Passion and Running With It.

Jean describes herself as always being interested in all things creative, including painting, sewing, photography, ceramics, embroidery and gardening!  She loves discovering, loves seeing and seeing the way others see.

Jean is a quilter from Southern California who is an active speaker throughout our state.  She teaches at guilds and has been an artist in residence and teacher at Asilomar.

Her quilts have been featured in several publications including Gwen Marston’s Liberated Quilting II and Louisa Smith’s Double Vision.  She has also done public art commissions in Southern California, as well as private art commissions.
