Every year we create an opportunity quilt to show the best skills of our guild. Members take the quilt to other guild meetings and quilt shows to sell raffle tickets.

The Opportunity quilt is a significant fundraiser for DVQ. Members are obligated to purchase $20 worth of tickets annually. Members can also purchase tickets to sell to friends. 

The 2024 quilt (below) is Big Blooms (pattern by Wendy Williams of flyingfishkits.com). Quilting by Tracey Boss of blossom quilting

It is made entirely of Kaffe fabrics and is 60 x 69 inches. All Dresdens, leafs and buds are hand appliquéd (needle turn).
